Lebanon, NH – Jesse J. Truman Jr., 84, died in the comfort of his home Friday, August 3, 2012. He was born in Brattleboro, VT to the late Jesse J. & Lillian (Lussier) Truman Sr. Following school he joined the US Navy and served during WW II. Jesse was married to Mary B. (Krushinski) Truman for forty years; she predeceased him on September 4, 1985. He later married Katherine Pearson on December 30, 1999. Jesse owned and operated the New & Used Ski Shop; offering ski’s to many adults and children to enjoy during the winter months. He retired from the Boston & Maine Railroad as a brakeman after thirty nine years of service. Jesse was a member of the American Legion in Concord, NH and he enjoyed skiing, traveling, hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by his children Joseph & Donna Truman of Maricopa, AZ, Bernice Isaacson of Greenbay, WI, Henry & Susan Truman of Lebanon, Thomas & Ellen Truman of Lebanon, Shirley Robes of FL, Jesse Truman III of Fairlee, VT, Susan & Bob Ingalls of Newport, NH, step children, Wayne & Sharon Hayes of Lebanon, James & Gabby Hayes of Concord, Scott & Ann Marie Hayes of Concord, fifteen grandchildren, ten Great grandchildren. Jesse was predeceased by his first wife Mary, a son Edward Truman and two granddaughters and all his siblings.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Wednesday, August 8th from 5-7 PM. A funeral will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 9th at 10 am. Burial will follow in the Valley Cemetery.
